Yangi granted support from the Swedish Energy Agency for an R&D project to develop new barrier solutions and application methods for dry forming.

The 2 year Superbowl project aims to develop a 100 % biobased solution including a barrier system for the takeaway segment.

“The project is a strategic collaboration with our pioneering partner Duni, who brings in know-how and market perspectives in the HORECA segment. We will jointly with suppliers, material and barrier specialists develop systems that are adapted for dry forming aiming for a 100 % renewable solution developed for home compost” says Maria Englander, CTO and material specialist at The Loop Factory.
